Covid-19 Auction Update
In light of the most recent advice from the government regarding the Covid-19 epidemic and with the safety of our staff and customers at the forefront of our minds, we have made the difficult decision to scale back our business until we are advised it is safe to do otherwise. As of Midday today There will be no access into our premises for the general public and our April sale has been postponed with a provisional revised date of 24th & 25th April, although this will be reviewed as further guidance becomes available.
Further advice and restrictions permitting, we are however planning to put together a timed online jewellery sale. There would be no viewing for this sale but we could arrange video calls, additional images and condition reports as required. We would also be requesting that all payments be made through the online payment link or bank transfer and that as far as possible collections be by post or courier. If you did wish to collect in person, this would be done by appointment and guidance on how we can facilitate a contactless handover would be given in advance. Whilst payment would still be expected within one week of the sale as normal, if you would prefer to wait until we are back fully operational to collect your purchased lots we will waive any storage fees.
We will have a much reduced staff intermittently on site so the phones will not be manned but will be checked for messages daily. Alternatively, email firstname.lastname@example.org, also checked daily, and your enquiry will be directed to the relevant person.
If you are interested in bringing items in for future auctions or would like valuation advice please also email email@example.com and someone will get back to you.
Thank you for your cooperation and understanding. Stay safe and we will see you all on the other side!
